Career Development and Athletic Development Programs – For High School Students

Referral Form 2018

Monday through Thursday (School Days):  1:30PM – 5:00PM

The purpose of the B.A.G.S. programs is to assist teenage boys and girls in becoming productive citizens within society by obtaining and increasing life skills to be successful. Through guidance, mentoring, and coaching, students are taught work ethics in addition to applying, securing, and maintaining employment.

Throughout the program, students are engaged in weekly workshops that discuss topics that relate to the work place (sexual harassment, drugs and alcohol, attire, attendance, etc.). Students are also taught how to write a resume, money management, and conflict resolution. Students receive biweekly stipends for their performance in the program. Deductions are made when students break a rule, miss a day, or misbehave.

It is our goal to build self-esteem and motivation within high risk teens by teaching them that they have the potential to be “a better Me”.
